Streaming Rules

Welcome to SportP2P One of the biggest guide for all your live sports. For guides on how to stream, take a look at the Streaming Section. The best is to use software like Sopcast, TVU, Veetle, StreamTorrent or TVAnts to stream with, as those are more stable and got let issues.

But of course you can also use flash. Its forbidden to use flash streaming sites that bother most viewers with all kinds of crap popups/advertisements/pay messages/toolbars.

List of rules that need to be followed in order for your stream to be listed.

Start with putting a Banner just above your stream on your webpage. This banner should be placed in a clear view just above the stream, without anything between it. No other sites or duplicates for other schedule sites.

Advertising: There should be 0 annoying ads on your page, that means no pop ups, popunders, fullscreen ads, overlays and other annoying advertising, No gabmling sites, absolutely no adult sites, porn or anything else thats not done. You can have up to 3 ads around the stream. Please avoid ads over the stream, called layers or instream ads. If you want to place one ad over the stream, then it has to have a close button and to be your only advertisement on your whole website. This also applies to advertisements that "slide up or down" over your website. Advertising networks that sometimes contain malware/trojans are not allowed. Specifically, TrafficRevenue and Clicksor are banned. It is the streamers responsibility to ensure that whichever alternative network they use does not fall into this category. Stating that the streamer has no control over what the network shows is not an acceptable excuse. There must be no hidden ad scripts Dont ask people to click ads. Keep in mind its about the streams and not the advertising people come for. Also dont block Adblockers!
Layout: There should be NO OTHER (P2P) sites listed or linked to apart from SportP2p.eu. Making schedules of other streams or embedding/linking to other streams on your site is not allowed. Doing any of the above may result in an immediate ban from SportP2P. We can only allow you to have your own streams on your webpage. Streams have to be your own all the time.

Other things that are NOT allowed:
- Having your own forum to discuss things.
- Having a member section.
- Having a toolbar anywhere on your site.
- Having anything involving Facebook on your site, including links or Buttons.
- Having other links or buttons that are not in the permitted list.
- Having more than one stream on a page.
The following things ARE permitted:
- Ads that follow rule.
- A chat that follows rule.
- A donate button or a small "ChipIn" type box.
- A Twitter button, make sure its a public account.
- Multiple streaming pages that all follow the rules.
- A schedule page of your own streams.
- Co-streamers sharing your site, but you are responsible to ensure the rules are being followed on all the pages.
Chat: A chat like many people do have is okay, if you control it. Its the same like with your stream: you should monitor it and watch what happens, so you have to do with your chat. We dont tolerate spam here, so neither its allowed in the chatbox on your streamsite. If we notice you dont remove spam we will send you a warning, if it happens again you have to remove your chatbox. If you cant monitor it, then disable your chat, or remove it for the time you are not around.
Stream: The stream that you have available on your page should be yours and not some other channel that you embed just for the sake of attracting viewers to your sites. The stream has to be at least of watchable quality, especially in full screen. With flash it should be easier to make high quality pictures. There should be no restrictions on viewing and it should be fully free without issues for everyone. You can put a text/logo on your stream saying it belongs to you, which shows you control it and prevents others from using it. If your stream gets removed we expect you to put a new stream on your webpage as fast as possible, but it may take no longer then 5 minutes. So also monitor it.

- Go to Home select your Match and add your stream.

If you are caught breaking any of these rules then after a warning, we will no longer list your webpage. You can then only get listed using P2P like Sopcast, Streamtorrent, TVants or tvu without a webpage!

At any time make sure the stream on your page is working at least 30 minutes before the start of the scheduled game. Failure to do this may result in removal of the stream of the schedules.
